Time Capsule Ceremony Pic. 1

A time capsule was put into the foundation of Butler Library in May or April of 1929, in October of 2007, the time capsule was taken out of the building and opened up for the first time in over seventy years. It was a lead box that had been soddered together. Inside was a rusted letter opener, a stick of grape chewing gum made by a beer company during the prohibition, a banner for a class in the 1920's, and many letters to future student; among other things.
